Steven McDowell serves as a Staff Accountant at Brandywine Oak, where he prepares individual and business tax returns, handles monthly bookkeeping, and assists with general administrative responsibilities. With five years at the firm, Steven brings experience in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and administration. He particularly enjoys working with contractors and helping clients with their bookkeeping needs.

Steven appreciates the problem-solving involved in understanding each client’s unique financial and tax situation. He values Brandywine Oak’s close-knit work environment and the sense of family that comes from being part of a smaller firm.



Steven earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of work, he enjoys football, working out, and anything related to cars. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus. An enthusiastic traveler, Steven has visited 46 of the 50 states, and his ideal weekend includes a beach chair and Manco & Manco pizza in Ocean City, New Jersey.
