Alison DeAngelo serves as Tax Manager at Brandywine Oak and brings extensive experience in tax preparation, review, planning, accounting, and business advisory services. Prior to joining the firm, Alison owned and operated a full-service tax and accounting practice serving individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and closely held businesses. Her experience also includes bookkeeping, payroll services, and entity formation and management.

Alison especially enjoys working with partnerships and S corporations with complex tax situations. She appreciates the problem-solving and strategic thinking involved in understanding complicated business structures and identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities. Just as important to Alison is helping clients understand their tax situation. She believes clients should not simply receive a completed tax return, but should understand what it means and how it affects their broader financial picture.

Alison earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Goldey-Beacom College. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Alison values the trust clients place in her, particularly when they are dealing with complicated, stressful, or highly personal financial matters. She finds it especially rewarding to provide clarity and help take some of that burden off their shoulders. Outside of work, Alison can usually be found cheering on her three children at gymnastics meets, volleyball games, and soccer matches alongside her husband and their mini Bernedoodle, Bella. She serves as treasurer of the KMC Boys Gymnastics Parent Organization and enjoys spending weekends with family and friends at their beach house. A little-known fact about Alison is her remarkable ability to remember birthdays—she once successfully recited the birthdays of an entire office of coworkers.
